Western Victoria Primary Health Network can provide support to reception staff as required, assisting reception staff to access relevent educational resources.

WVPHN aim to strengthen the role and confidence of reception staff as valued members of the care team, along with increasing access to and participation in education and training opportunities.

Reception staff are welcomed to engage in self-directed learning using provided resources and learning materials found on this page.

Reception staff may collaborate with practice managers, or work alongside a WVPHN Primary Care Engagement Officer to access resources or tailor a plan.

Reception staff may assess their own learning needs by completing the Skills and Strengths Review Worksheet

Reception staff may then document their learning journey on the Reception - Individual Learning Plan

Reception staff may choose to engage with a Primary Care Engagement Officer for further support.

Reception staff can opt to receive support from a WVPHN Primary Care Engagement Officer on request.

Support may be provided in a face-to-face setting and virtually (via email, phone or Teams meeting).

This program is now delivered in a self-directed format; no application is required.
