Western Victoria PHN is pleased to partner with the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association to deliver a new Infection Prevention and Control Helpline.

The free helpline is manned by two full-time division one nurses and supported by three infection prevention control specialists. It is now available to all Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, General Practices and Pharmacy staff between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Call 1800 312 968 to receive advice.

The initiative is a joint venture between Victoria’s six PHNs and funded by the Victorian Department of Health.
