Free Family Violence Training for General Practices

Take part in the A-LIVES Family Violence training program

With nearly one woman killed every week across the country by a current or former partner, gain the skills to recognise and help those subjected to family violence.
Primary health care providers have a vital role in identifying and supporting people suffering family violence. Recognising this, WVPHN is offering grants of $2000 to general practices to participate in a practice-wide training program – the A-LIVES Training and Support package.
The program has been developed to give practice staff, from receptionists to GPs and nurses, the skills and confidence to support victims of family and domestic violence.
