What is GoShare?
GoShare is a customisable content distribution platform, which aims to improve patient self-efficacy and self-management behaviours and empower people to play a more active role in their healthcare. GoShare is used to complement telephone and face-to-face interactions.

What the program includes
Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) currently grants 80 General Practice clinics within the WVPHN catchment a GoShare license as part of the program.
Included in the license, the clinic will receive:
- Access to their own GoShare dashboard and suite of information bundles
- 150 SMS credits to be used for sharing information with their patients - further SMS credits can be purchased directly through GoShare if required
- Access to rapid campaigns initiated by Healthily and industry partners to address specific conditions, disease, or illnesses, sometimes inclusive of SMS credits
- Ongoing support by WVPHN and Healthily to support the meaningful use of GoShare

COVID-19 Vaccination Recall campaign for adults aged 75 years and older
The recall campaign is deployed via GoShare which allows an authorised practice staff member to send a recall message to patients aged 75 years and over, whose last COVID-19 vaccination was ≥ 6 months ago.
The campaign can be activated within 24 hours, with a simple, secure software download. The clinic will be allocated SMS credits and a practice staff member will be guided through the steps to create the patient list to send the recall SMS bundle out to eligible patients. It only takes 15 minutes of a practice staff member’s time to complete the activity.

Pneumococcal Vaccine Recall campaign
This recall program is deployed via GoShare, which allows an authorised practice staff member to send a recall SMS or email to patients aged 70 years and over, who are eligible for the pneumococcal vaccine. All costs related to the GoShare program and SMS costs are covered by Pfizer Australia.
