Background
The western Victoria HealthPathways is a web-based portal providing locally agreed, evidence-based, condition-based clinical guidelines and an up-to-date service referral directory. The site is designed to support primary health care providers, in particular general practitioners, in assessing, managing and referring patients.
Aims and objectives of this Series
The Population Health ECHO Network: HealthPathways Series brings together the most popular HealthPathways with practical application through case-based discussion. Five topics have been selected based on our HealthPathways analytics. The most searched topics and frequently visited pathways were cut down to a top five by ECHO attendees in our last series and we have invited 5 specialists to review them. We aim to bridge the knowledge to action gap by providing pithy updates, reviewing key areas, and bringing practical tips from both generalists and specialists in the field. Feedback through the series will inform future HealthPathways development.
