MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration model introduced by the Commonwealth Government to help strengthen the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner (GP) and other primary care providers.

General practices have been able  to register with MyMedicare via PRODA since 1 July 2023. Patient registration has been open since 1 October 2023.

Western Victoria Primary Health Network is available to offer support to both practices and health providers with registering and management MyMedicare.

1 July 2024 Residential Aged Care Incentive available

1 November 2024 MBS Chronic disease Management plans available
