Hepatitis C

Home > Hepatitis C

It is believed that 82% of people living with hepatitis C in Australia have been diagnosed, however, many of these people have either not been informed of their diagnosis or are not aware of the implications of chronic viral hepatitis.

Undertaking quality improvement in Hepatitis C means patients affected can be managed safely and avoid advanced liver related diseases. This may also result in a decrease in the rate of western Victorians living with the virus.
